1. Is it possible to make a same day appointment?
Yes, it is possible. During your first office visit, we spend a lot of time getting a complete picture of your health and lifestyle. We'll also ask questions about your emotional state, and specific symptoms you may have. This done because we treat the whole person instead of focusing on the symptoms of your condition. The first visit can last up to an hour, including an acupuncture treatment along with consultation. Your subsequent visits will be much faster, usually an hour long. We'll make a short review of your progress followed by an acupuncture treatment.

Do you suffer from pain, injury or another physical ailment?
LessPain Acupuncture's doing in the treatment of pain management, and a multiple of other difficult to treat conditions. Our methods are designed to return function to injured or painful areas of the body, so that you can get back to return to work, and resume your favorite activities that are limited by your pain. In addition to acupuncture, we also provide herbal therapy, Cupping, and heat therapies to facilitate the healing process.
2. Is acupuncture safe?
Acupuncture is one of the most conservative and safe therapies in existence. We use only single use sterile disposable needles. Because acupuncture uses the body's own healing power to restore health, it is minimally invasive.

3. Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture is a very gentle procedure. The hair-thin needles are flexible, sterile, and only used once. After treatment, patients might experience sleepiness or a dull, heavy sensation where the needles were inserted. This is a desired effect and does not generally feel painful. However, sensations at the stimulated points of the body are common and often necessary in order to achieve the therapeutic goal. Overall, most people find it to be an extremely relaxing and comfortable procedure.

4. Are there side effects of acupuncture?
Occasionally a person may get a small bruise at an acupuncture site, although this is fairly rare. Some people feel a little light headed after treatment, especially if they have not eaten adequately that day. Some of the points simulated may be a little sore for 24 to 48 hours following acupuncture. The majority of people just feel extremely relaxed.
